Dear Ellen,
We're so honored to have received a Rabbit Stop Grant. I'd like to follow up my January letter with a little update on the 8 baby angora/lop mixes who were spayed and neutered using the grant money. All 8 have been adopted! Their adoptions were able to happen quickly in part because, thanks to your grant, there was no delay in spaying and neutering these babies. I've included a photo of Scotty, one of the first of the litter to be adopted, who lives with his human companions in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
I've also attached a pdf of the Spay/Neuter brochure we give to adopters and to the public. We have this brochure available on our website as well, www.rabbitrr.org

Our April 7th fundraiser, "Hops for Hope: An Easter Benefit for Midwest Rabbit Rescue," is fast approaching. The "Make Mine Chocolate Campaign" is the central theme at this chocolate and beer-tasting event, which will feature a wide variety of Fair-Trade chocolates from Equal Exchange, Dagoba, Divine and the Endangered Species Chocolate Company, paired with six to eight styles of beer from Ypsi's own Corner Brewery. We will also have Fair-Trade coffee, and beautiful Easter baskets full of Fair-Trade goodies for auction! We expect to have a hip hoppin' good time eating chocolate and drinking micro brews, all while educating folks on why they should buy chocolate instead of baby bunnies at Easter! Tickets are available IN ADVANCE ONLY at www.rabbitrr.org
Thank you, Rabbit Stop, for your generosity to the rabbit community! Your support makes all the difference to small, non-profit rescues like ours.
Sincerely,
Jill Pernicano
