irst and foremost we must say thank you to everyone that applied to the program. We received so many wonderful requests that deciding how to allocate the funds was not an easy job. We realize the amount of work, time, money and love that it takes to accomplish running a rescue or shelter. We consider it an honor to be part of such a committed and caring community.
his year 12 groups were chosen to receive grant funding. These applications included outreach projects, expansion projects, education, special needs and more. Our intention was to support as many groups as possible without compromising the integrity of their objectives. We hope that with the aid of our grant funding all of their goals will be met in the upcoming year. We wish all of our applicants and those groups who did not apply the best for 2007.
