First, let me say thank you to every organization that took the time to apply to our Grant Program, your efforts deserve recognition. We were honored to have received so many quality applications from a variety of shelters.

The eleven listed above were chosen for their excellence in the areas of Educational Outreach, Public Awareness and Fiscal Responsibility in providing rescue or rehabilitation services. All applicants were judged on a set of criteria that included an objective point system. The President of the company and the Director of Public Relations then chose the finalists. This was not an easy task due to the overwhelming amount of quality grants reviewed. We attempted to award as many as we could without compromising the integrity of their objectives. We feel we accomplished this in our selections and sincerely hope the recipient’s goals are met in the year ahead.

Ferret Depot and Rabbit Stop are proud to be a part of such wonderful communities. We realize the amount of work it takes to accomplish the goals of a rescue organization. If you were not a recipient this year, we encourage you to participate in our future Grant Programs to assist you in your endeavors.

Sincerely,

Ellen McDowell.
